Stroll around the base of rolling hills, investigate the bright lights of a shiny new shopping center, and learn about Guangzhou's intriguing past on this private tour around the city. Enjoy convenient pickup directly from your hotel and spend the day exploring parks, museums, and attractions.

Meet up with your guide as you climb aboard comfortable transportation just outside your downtown hotel and grab a seat to cruise to your first destination. At Huacheng Square, hop out to examine the area's newest buildings and the gleaming architecture of high-end shops and vibrant cafes.

Cross over the Pearl River and reach the sandy shores of Shamian Island, where grand buildings once housed dozens of foreign consulates from all over the world, and then stop off at a locally loved restaurant for a tasty meal of traditional Chinese dishes.

After lunch, continue on to the Chen Clan Ancestral Hall where you can listen as your guide explains how this 19th-century complex was created to educate Chen clans and snap photos of the hall's ornate pagodas.

Dive deeper into the past with a visit to the 2,000-year-old tomb at the the Museum of the Mausoleum of the Nanyue King, take a leisurely walk around Yuexiu Park's 7 hills, and then wrap up your excursion admiring the red face of the 5-story Zhenhai Tower before you head back to your hotel.
