Get out of Shanghai on a bullet train and explore the incredible city of Suzhou. See its famous Classical gardens, ancient and beautiful Tiger Hill, and hear legends of the city's long history from a local tour guide.
Take a cab from your hotel to Shanghai Hongqiao train station, and then ride a quick bullet train to Suzhou, getting picked up by your tour guide and beginning an exciting day of sightseeing. The first stop in the city is Tiger Hill. Over 2,500 years old, its combination of natural beauty with jaw-dropping history has made it popular with tourists for eons.
Enjoy lunch before heading to the Humble Administrator's Garden, part of the city's UNESCO-listed Classical Gardens and one of the most famous traditional Chinese gardens in history. At the end of the tour, your guide drops you off at the train station, and you take the train back to Shanghai, and then a cab to your hotel.
