Tour Description

Take a break from Shanghai and take a private tour of Nanjing. Zip to the ancient capital on a bullet train, and see some of the main sights with a private guide, including Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum and the City Wall of Nanjing.
Get picked up from your hotel by a cab to the train station, and then take a two-hour bullet train ride to Nanjing. Meet your guide at the train station, and depart for Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum, the most famous structure in the city. Perched at the top of a massive staircase up Mount Zijin, the sight features impressive Chinese architecture and impressive views of the surrounding countryside.
After lunch, make your way to the City Wall of Nanjing, one of the largest city walls in the country. Commissioned by Emporer Zhu Yuanzhang of the Ming Dynasty, and built by hundreds of thousands of laborers, it has stood guard around the city for hundreds of years, and remains in good condition today. Spend some time at the wall, and then return to the train station with your driver. Take the bullet train back to Shanghai, and then the cab back to your hotel.
