Take a relaxing trip with an expert guide to see the Leshan Giant Buddha which is carved into the rocks next to a beautiful river. Visit a temple above the Buddha statue for a vast view of the surrounding scenery as well as a bird's-eye view of the carving. Top your day off with a delicious lunch.
Meet your guide in your hotel lobby, then set off on a quest to find the Leshan Giant Buddha. After the short drive, hop out of the vehicle and prepare to be amazed by the enormity of the statue. Set into stone along the banks of a mighty river, this more than 1000-year-old Buddha carving is so massive that 100 people can sit on just one of its giant feet.
Snap your picture in front of the statue before continuing to the temple that is located on the cliffs above the Leshan Giant Buddha. This high-vantage point affords you sweeping views of the river and statue below. Head back down the cliff, and stop at a restaurant nearby for an authentic-Chinese meal.
