Day 1:
Meet up with your private shuttle directly outside your Shanghai hotel and drive to the aiport for your flight to Xi'an. When you arrive, take a scenic ride outside of the city to get up-close looks at the rows of clay soldiers that make up the Terracotta Army. Learn how these weathered warriors were created and what function they served, chatting as you move from the museum to a local lunch spot to tuck into a tasty meal.
Follow your guide back to the city center, where you can stroll atop the Fortifications of Xi'an, uncover the bustling markets in the Muslim Quarter, and savor a scrumptious dinner before turning in at your luxury hotel.

Day 2:
Wake up early and take a comfortable ride to the Han Yang Ling Mausoleum. Learn which Western Han Dynasty emperor was buried here and examine immersive exhibits that explain the ceremonial purpose behind pieces of pottery and figurines that accompanied the emperor in his tomb.
